WEEK 7 | Progress
The past few prac sessions, I have been working on the Unity prototype. I tried my best to recreate the device by the 3D object and present the concept by using code. The body of the device end up formed by an elongated
cube and the on-off button is formed by a sphere, embodied in the body. The
button shows up in red and green to represent off and on.

I spent some time to come up the idea to show different weathers. At last, I create
three scenes that are connected by clicking the on-off button, in order to demonstrate different weather condition. The scene will
change when users off the device and turn it on again. The
essentials' images were found online and embedded in a flat 3D object. The 3D objects are hidden in the body to
represent the essentials are inside the device. When the user hit 'Yes', the object will show up; 'No' to disappear or not show up.
I think the most challenging part to develop an Unity is finding the correct code that accurately represent my concept. Sometimes, the results I Googled might not suit my expectation. Also, I spent quite a lot of time to figure out the logic to the developing the Unity and organise the materials. The day before the testing, I modified the Google forms and the questions to be more open-ended, aiming to receive more constructive feedback.
